MLK Day Service Opportunity: Arlington Rotary Club
The Arlington Rotary Club will guide volunteers in making fleece blankets to support students in AHC Inc’s after school program for children in affordable housing and to adults in A-SPAN’s homeless shelters. This is a family-friendly project, but does involve scissors, so supervision of any children participating is necessary. Participants will also be responsible for providing scissors for use in their home. The Rotary Club will provide the blanket kits unless participants would like to provide your own (the more the better). Participants will follow along with Rotary Club members, learning how to make blankets through a Zoom call. All materials will be provided by the Rotary Club through contactless pickup at AHC’s Woodbury Park Apartments (2306 11th St. N, Arlington) on the day-of

No sewing skills necessary. Registration is required to participate. THIS OPPORTUNITY BENEFITS AHC INC AND A-SPAN.
