9th MLK Clean-Up and Peace March & Celebration

The Warehouse & West Side Grows Together Presents MLK 2021 Event, “Healing through Unity”

Join us on Monday, January 18th for a MLK Day of Service! Our theme is Healing through Unity, where we come together after a very difficult 2020 to heal as a community and remember MLK as we move forward in 2021. The Warehouse & West Side Grows Together will be hosting community cleanups in the morning in three different locations at different times, then joining together in the afternoon for a physical march and an online livestream celebration. Below is the schedule for this MLK Day Celebration:

10AM-1PM: Clean Ups (beginning and end time varies depending on the location you register for).

2PM-2:30PM: March-Hicks Anderson Community Center 5th and Madison Streets

3:30PM-5PM: Livestream Celebration

Please note that every individual who plans to participate must register for each activity they are interested in attending. If you plan to register multiple people, you will need to complete separate orders for each person. This assists us in knowing how many people to expect, so we can plan accordingly and follow Covid-19 regulations. Please register as soon as possible. There are no fees, as all activities are free to attend.

Registration will officially close for all activities on Saturday, January 16th. However, if one of the activities reaches maximum capacity before then, registration for that activity will close prior to the registration end date.
