| Ways to help | Transformational Ministry MentorProvide support and encouragement to students as they do down the pathway to financial and life stability.CashierOperate the cash register, bag items, greet and assist customers at Love INC Resale Store.Furniture RoomAssist customers in the furniture room and mattress areas. Answer questions and prepare delivery paperwork at Love INC Resale Store.Community Service OpportunitiesLove INC of Newaygo County does offer community service opportunities to high school students needing community services credit hours, and also to community members who have court ordered community service requirements. All community service performed through Love INC must be approved in advance by the Love INC staff.Receiving DepartmentAssist people with unloading of donations, sorting donations and placing them in the proper bins/areas at Love INC Resale Store.Truck Driver & Driver AssistantsDriving the Love INC Truck and/or assisting with loading and unloading of large furniture items and appliances. Truck is equipped with a life gate. All items are picked up from or delivered to a garage or outside. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required for drivers. No CDL required.Shopper AssistantHelp individuals shop, offer friendship and prayer, and make them feel welcome in our Food Pantry.Help Center Phone VolunteerAnswer Help Center phone line, assist neighbor in need with completion of an intake form over the phone, be comfortable asking questions and praying for others out loud. |

| How you help | Volunteer opportunities are available in our Resale Store, Food Pantry, Help Center, through Gap Ministries, Rooms of Refuge, and our Transformational Ministry. In addition, we also have several short-term projects and partner church ministries in need of willing hands and hearts. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people in the community, and to form long-term relationships. |
