211OC Disaster Volunteer ProgramJoin the 211OC Disaster Relief Corps and be prepared to help your community. If there’s an earthquake, a fire, or other natural disaster, 211OC is prepared to connect those in need, from housing pets, to families in need of short term housing, food or clothing, to answering phones in a crisis situation. We need volunteers, like you, as part of our Disaster Relief Corp to help augment our response to these potential critical needs.Digital AdvocateIncrease awareness and generate revenue for 2-1-1 Orange County online without actually donating – anytime, anywhere.Cal Fresh Materials TranslatorTranslate CalFresh Materials into Farsi, Korean or Japanese.Outreach Ambassador IIAssist with assembly of marketing or survival kits that will be distributed to those in need.Tenant Education Housing ExpertProvide assistance to tenants with filling out and processing rental applications and providing direct service to the population.Communications AssistantHelp to increase awareness of 2-1-1 Orange County through Social Media and developmental support of marketing materials.Outreach AmbassadorPromote and help build awareness about 2-1-1OC in a variety of ways including attending community events and distributing our marketing materials. |

| About us | 211OC is a nonprofit that connects the vulnerable with the health and human resources they need when they need it most in Orange County, CA. Specialists work with callers to assess their situation and give support, intervene in crisis situations, provide appropriate programs, and advocate for the caller as needed. All calls are completely confidential and help is available in all languages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 2-1-1 Orange County also serves as a crucial public information system during local emergencies such as earthquake, fire or other disaster. |
