Art Making with artist Gwen Black and A HCCI Harlem S.A.V.E. Online Art Exhibition Dedicated to Dr. MLK, Jr. Visit www.gwenblackarts.com to see the online art gallery featuring Dr. Martin Luther King portraits created by senior residents in the HCCI Harlem S.A.V.E. Program. At 2:30 pm. join artist Gwen Black in creating a portrait of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Learn how to transfer a photo onto canvas or paper and render it using paint, pencil or other art mediums. We will complete the project with a vision board inspired by Dr. King’s words. Tools needed: photos of Dr. King, pencils, paper or canvas, paint or markers (if you have them), old magazines, erasers, cups for water (if you will be painting), scissors, glue, and brushes.
