Action for Early Learning (AFEL) MLK Day VIRTUAL Family Read-Along

Action for Early Learning (AFEL) will be honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr in partnership with Drexel University’s Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships, the West Philadelphia Promise Neighborhood, and People’s Emergency Center. Virtual activities will take place on Monday, January 18, starting at 10 am to 11 am. Parents, caregivers, educators and children of all ages are encouraged to participate in the legacy of Dr. King’s dream. No volunteers are needed but participants are welcome. Virtual activities will include storytelling, singing, dancing, and mindfulness grounded in the theme of Justice for Healthy Communities.
