Services and Special Events VolunteersParty planners for special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Winter Holidays and Halloween. Services such as photography, fundraising, grant writing are needed.MentorWork individually with one client at a time (mothers and fathers). Serve as a support person and friend to one client. Have fun with activities such as cooking a meal together, taking your client to an appointment, or going to the park. Some transportation assistance may be required.Baby Pantry AssistantMaintain the pantry including washing, folding and sorting clothing. Solicit gently used items. There is no client contact with this position.ChildcareWeekly groups with childcare are offered to program clients.Share a Talent/Teach a GroupResource guides in specific areas, such as financial literacy coaches, tutors, etc. Assistance with college applications and financial aid applications. Parenting education, either a one-time class or series. Life skills or enrichment classes that meet just once or a few times, such as cooking, yoga, music with babies. |
