Dog owners and handlers experienced in agility teach the students to navigate the agility courses. They share in the success of their students, meet the challenge of new experiences and certainly feel they make a difference in someone’s life. The dogs used in Agility Angels are described as “Bomb-Proof”. They have a temperament that allows them to deal with “anything” that happens around them.

How you help We are a 100% volunteer organization made up of dogs and their owners. We could not provide this amazing program without the assistance of both 2-legged and 4-legged volunteers.
About us Agility Angels uses the sport of dog agility to help individuals diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder develop social skills, physical abilities and self-confidence. Agility Angels has grown by word of mouth to over 50 participants. Training classes are held three evenings a week by Holmes and a crew of volunteer coaches. Coaches and trained agility dogs are paired with students based on their compatibility.
